Those days... In my heart...

Year 2006
Wei Hon, Chi Yang, Wai Hong

What the hell!!! Carry me like big fish! haha..

yeah!!! we are ready!!! GAMBATEH!!!

fantastic 10!

These are all old days photos when we were preparing very hard for the taekwondo championship 3 years back on 28th May 2006. We had spent almost more than 3 months just to practise for the championship. A team of 10, myself, Kin Man, Chi Yang, Mun Chek, Shu Keong, Wai Hong, Su Ting, Simon, Kar Kitt, Hooi Tong to plan up the performance, drama, plank breakings, poomsae. Sad thing was we only managed to get 1st runner up with losing to Sunway team by just 1 point! After the Emcee announced that we were 1st runner up, 1 of the referees claimed that we should actually deserved the gold medals. Well it was okay! We had done our best! No doubt we were the best!

We started practising at our old place KDE (Kelab Darul Ehsan) every Wednesday, sometimes at Permaisuri Park. Those days were most hardcore with sweats, bloods, effort, passion. Sometimes, we did have some misundertanding and arguement. I think these misundertandings and arguements made us got closer and understand one another better.

I miss those days! Those days were fantastic! We were together most of the time practise together, talk together, play together. When I looked at these pictures my tears almost dropped. I felt miss them very much! I wish I could cluster 10 of us again! I think they will have same thought as me too. These days everybody busy with their studies and work already, I believe we can gather again!

Taekwondo Black Belt Test

What : Taekwondo Black Belt Test
When : 31st May 2009
Where : SRJK(C) Bukit Damansara ,Damansara
Time : 1pm
Attendance : WKM, Kin Man, Shu Hao, Sau Lui

it was a tired day for me as i had juz completed relay for life (endurance race) on the same day 4am, i had promised Kin Man to go together to Damansara for watching the test live and exclusive!

looking at how they taking their test, for me, it was a disappointment that most of them did not even prepared themselves for the test, they were like taking the test just for fun, and enjoyed themselves like playing fool inside the ring. Waste their money, their own effort, time of instructors, and time of everybody!

Well, hope to see fantastic performance from those who will be taking black belt test next badge.

Taekwondo Championship MSSKL / PTKL

What : Taekwondo Championship MSSKL / PTKL
When : 16th May 2009
Where : Stadium Badminton, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur
Time : 7am
Attendance : WKM, LMC, LCK, andy, jun hann, farng hui, cherry, jasmine, pei yun, arena boyz etc...

i could only sleep tight after 6am on saturday because a mosquito came into my room and kept disturbing me, i was so frustrated and kept my eyes open just to kill the mosquito. when i wanted to fall asleep it bite me, when i wanted to kill it, it flied away, what a clever mosquito!

people called me early morning at around 7am and 8am. i was very tired and did not want to pick up any call because i need a 4-hour bed time at least since i had a sleepless night. however the calls kept on coming in, i felt so frustrated and really wanted throw my hand phone away and dip into a cup of water.

i finally looked into my phone when andy called me, saying that jasmine had to be lining up immediately at the arena. i was wondering sparring competition by right should be started after lunch time. Geneviene called me earlier and i did not pick up the phone, and i called her inform her that jasmine had to go there immediately, she knew it earlier and her father would send jasmine to stadium badminto immediately, we were very frustrated talking on the phone because received some stupid information from them.

i sacrificed my bed time and went to the stadium immediately and coach them, by the time reach there, jun hann lost in the 1st round. after that was andy's turn, i had had already taught him a good strategy which could guarantee he could keep his right attitude towards the 1st round against a giant competitor. most important thing to do is to keep himself relax and never ever fight like a bull with competitors! when came to his turn, he lost his mind when his competitor injured his leg (nail), and he fought like nobody business, the feeling was like wanted to revenge! during rest time i told him to control his emotion and relax his mind, maybe he did not realise that he was playing bull fight but on judges side or public side of view, he was actually out of control. things to learn : do not attack opponent blindly even though you are having serious pain on your body (arms, legs), relax and mind control are crucial, do not show the sign of pain of yours to yours to your opponent because they could easily take advantage against you.

for poomsae competition, i saw most of them were just came and play, performed a poomsae without any preparation and practice, what a sad matter! however i knew 2 of my juniors farng hui and cherry had done their best, unfortunately they did not have any chance to qualified for top 3, i saw actually had 2 participants for women category were fantastic, especially in term of skill and technique to guarantee them gold and silver, 3rd was hardly judged because almost the same. in men category, arena boys were fantastic especially in team poomsae, their cooperation, teamwork, just brilliant! i am speechless! anyhow i have a lot of things to learn from them also, in fact i had recorder down their performance so that i can gain something good from them. congratulation to arena team!

when came to opening ceremony, this was the only sleeping time i had, but having seen madam loh, lokmanian co-curriculum advisor, so i had a chat with her and discussed on the help-up events in future. meanwhile, the performance came with a not-so-good team performed, hmmm... just enjoyed their funny performance only. the only excited performance came from arena team, they showed me the importance of teamwork is, the team is actually very huge, i was wondering when could i get such a big group from now having all the black-belts performing 'koryo' poomsae. planks breaking section was the only performance i had been waiting for so long even though i had seen it before, just superb! indescribable!

2nd half of sparring competition began after the opening ceremony. jasmine and pei yun's turn were after 4.30pm, why i wanted to sacrifice my sleeping time came here so early?!! well, pei yun and jasmine did very well and won the 1st round. however i needed to rush back to prepare myself for dinner tonight, i left 4.45pm. i received news that both had lost in quarter final, i felt it was okay for them since this was their 1st time taking part in the competition. well done!

last but not least, i would say well done to everybody especially our juniors who had taken part in the competition, even though they had not won anything, always support you all! keep practising! keep passionate! stay cool! stay strong! finally bye bye!

Drink Water on Empty Stomach‏

It is popular in Japan today to drink water immediately after waking up every morning. Furthermore, scientific tests have proven a its value.

We publish below a description of the use of water for our readers. For old and serious diseases as well as modern illnesses the water treatment had been found successful by a Japanese medical society as a 100% cure for the following diseases:

Headache, body ache, heart system, arthritis, fast heart beat, epilepsy, excess fatness, bronchitis asthma, TB, meningitis, kidney and urine diseases, vomiting, gastritis, diarrhea, piles, diabetes, constipation, all eye diseases, womb, cancer and menstrual disorders, ear nose and throat diseases.

METHOD OF TREATMENT

1. As you wake up in the morning before brushing teeth, drink 4 x 160ml glasses of water

2. Brush and clean the mouth but do not eat or drink anything for 45 minutes

3. After 45 minutes you may eat and drink as normal

4. After 15 minutes of breakfast, lunch and dinner do not eat or drink anything for 2 hours

5. Those who are old or sick and are unable to drink 4 glasses of water at the beginning may commence by taking little water and gradually increase it to 4 glasses per day

6. The above method of treatment will cure diseases of the sick and others can enjoy a healthy life

The following list gives the number of days of treatment required to cure/control/reduce main diseases:

1. High Blood Pressure - 30 days
2. Gastric - 10 days
3. Diabetes - 30 days
4. Constipation - 10 days
5. Cancer - 180 days
6. TB - 90 days
7. Arthritis patients should follow the above treatment only for 3 days in the 1st week, and from 2nd week onwards - daily

This treatment method has no side effects, however at the commencement of treatment you may have to urinate a few times. It is better if we continue this and make this procedure as a routine
work in our life.

Drink Water and Stay Healthy and Active.

This makes sense... The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals... not cold water. Maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit
while eating!!! Nothing to lose, everything to gain...

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you.

It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion.

Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It
is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

A serious note about heart attacks: Women should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting.

Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.

You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack.

Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms.

60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up.

Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep.

Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know, the better chance we could survive...

A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this mail sends it to everyone
they know, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life.

**Please be a true friend and send this article to all your friends you care about.
